Over the years there has been a change in service delivery for weighing within organisations such as yourselves. Historically factories maintained separate suppliers for the main weighing disciplines, Precision (laboratory), Industrial and Process weighing. Although all fall under the umbrella of weighing, the reality is the skills, expertise and experience to deliver these services is very different. However modern business practices have moved on which meant customers have realised the benefit of working with fewer suppliers and developing closer relationships.

Of course suppliers have responded to this requirement by taking on work that has fallen outside their traditional discipline, which in many cases has led to them stretching their capability and compromising service through the lack of skill and experience in a particular area.

European Instruments and Applied Weighing have not been tempted to follow this path and to this day maintain reputations as experts in their respective fields of weighing. However in recognition of the synergy between our two organisations and the customer preference for dealing with less suppliers we have developed a formidable weighing partnership of two specialists acting from an administrative aspect as one supplier.
